How I Faced Up to the Truth About Effective Content Marketing

And how I’m learning to get visible again…

I’ve been quiet on LinkedIn recently.

As someone who helps other people and businesses achieve their visibility and marketing goals, you might think this is a bit of a no-no… Yet the discomfort of being visible online has overridden the discomfort of being invisible offline.

You see, I’ve been wondering whether online content marketing was all worth it (even though the stats said it most certainly was!!!).

In fact, I realised I was going about things backward. I was spending too much time on pithy social media posts, and not enough on creating useful (and hopefully kinda fun) online content.

Not only that, my website, the very thing I want to draw people to, was woefully out of date. It was tired, stuffy and so last-decade. Thankfully, it at least, it has finally received a huge makeover.

Given how invisible I’ve been online, I thought I’d share a recent photo just to prove I’m real, especially if we’ve never met in person. I put the vintage filter in memory of the former state of my website.
